George N. Politis is Professor in Social Philosophy, Philosophy Department, School of Philosophy,  National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has published seven monographs, two collected volumes and more than fourty-five papers in academic journals and conference proceedings. His main research interests include the study of major schools of thought in the fields of social and political philosophy, namely conservatism, liberalism and socialism. He is the founder and director of "Philosophy-Politics-Economy Laboratory" of the NKUA. PPE Lab aims to study, document, analyze and promote  public policies. Dr. Politis is the founder and director of Logostart, spin-off company of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
