Konstantina Konstantinou holds a PhD in Philosophy from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a background and interdisciplinary specialization in Philosophy and Political Science/Public Administration. Her doctoral dissertation examines the formation of political organization and the moral order in Plato’s Laws, focusing on the interconnection between institutions and moral formation, as well as their role in the stability, cohesion, and evaluation of political systems. She is a researcher at the NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory, where she works on issues of applied ethics, with a particular emphasis on the normative dimensions of technology and public policy. In addition, she has professional experience in the management and implementation of research projects and initiatives, as well as in policy analysis and scientific communication. She has participated in scientific conferences and workshops, and has delivered lectures and presentations in academic and research settings on Platonic philosophy, the ethics of institutions, and the relationship between moral philosophy and political thought. Her research interests focus on the intersection of classical philosophical thought with contemporary challenges, particularly the relationship between institutions and the moral order, examining how normatively structured practices contribute to the formation and evaluation of responsible and coherent social and political systems.
