Filotheos-Fotios Maroudas is a Doctor of Philosophy of the University of Strasbourg. Advisory Board Member of the Laboratory of Applied Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Head of the Second Greek Unit of the International Chair of Bioethics (ICB). He is the Priestly Head of the Greek Orthodox community of the municipalities of Dortmund-Bochum in Germany, in the climate of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. He actively participates as a member in Interconfessional, Interfaith and Academic Schemes that aim at the creative coexistence of diverse traditions and philosophies. His research-scientific activity focuses on the wider area of the so-called Systematic Theology and more specifically on ecclesiology and the reality of interculturality (Global Bio-Ethics) in the modern world through the phenomenon of the rapid cultural restructuring of societies. He is Adjunct Teacher in Postgraduate Programs of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has written a chapter in a scientific volume, published in scientific journals as well as in collective scientific volumes.
